Howard Tayler is the writer and illustrator behind Schlock Mercenary, the Hugo-nominated science fiction comic strip.  His artwork is featured in XDM X-Treme Dungeon Mastery, a role-playing supplement by Tracy and Curtis Hickman, as well as in the board game "Schlock Mercenary: Capital Offensive" by Kevin Nunn, published by Living World Games. His novelette, Flight of the Runewright, appears in the sci-fi/horror anthology Space Eldritch, and you can expect to find more prose from Howard in 2013 and beyond.

Howard co-hosts the Parsec award-winning “Writing Excuses” podcast, a weekly 'cast for genre-fiction writers, with Mary Robinette Kowal, Brandon Sanderson, and Dan Wells.

His most recent printed work is Schlock Mercenary: The Sharp End of the Stick. His latest complete online story, Schlock Mercenary: Random Access Memorabilia, is a fantastic place for new readers to get acquainted with the work for which he is best known.

He lives in Orem, Utah with his wife Sandra, their four children, and one ungrateful, archetypally imperious cat.

Todd Cook is a freelance Graphic Designer / Prop Maker from Phoenix, Arizona that runs his own prop company, Todd Cook Designs. He has been in the prop industry for over 14 years and has built many props for the costuming community and for the web series, Super Power Beat Down and Voyage Trekkers. He has even used his talents in prop building to auction off items with the proceeds going to various charities. If you haven't seen him at comic con at a table showing off his work, you can usually find him wandering the exhibitor hall cosplaying various characters, from the Dark Knight or the Joker to his current cosplay of Deapool (movie version). He was also highlighted on Yahoo.com for his Joker in 2009 as one of the best costumes at San Diego Comic Con.
