24 Hour Comics Day 2009

 Scott McCloud devised the 24 Hour Comic Day Challenge as a way to push people's creativity by restricting the time they have to complete a comic. Now an annual event, thousands of participants attempt to complete 24 comic book pages in less than 24 hours. This short documents one of these events at a comic book store in Phoenix, AZ. The film follows the hopes, the challenges and successes of a group of sleep-deprived artists. Features artist at the Phoenix Comicon.
