Film Festival Rules

Are you a filmmaker?

Are you a geek?

Are you a film geek?

Well the signature pop-culture event of the southwest is now bringing you the signature film festival of the southwest.

The Phoenix Comicon Film Festival this year is expanding with special guest judges, awesome awards and great entertainment for all ages. This is going to be an exciting event and we want you to join the fun. We are inviting all Indie Filmmakers to submit their projects for the 2010 festival.

There are two areas to enter films. The first is the traditional competition series. This is open to short and feature films but they must have been produced within the last year (2009 or later). They also must fall into one of the following categories: Sci-Fi, Thriller, Horror, Film Noir, Mystery, Animation, Comedy, Pop Culture Documentaries, Fan Films or be related to Comics, Anime, or Gaming. If you have something that hasn't been listed here but you feel might fit our festival, please feel free to contact us (see below) and let us know about it.

The second area you can submit for is our Spotlight Series. This is for special screenings only but the films may have been produced at any time. The films chosen for this series will be limited but will consist of fun and innovative films that fall into one of the already mentioned categories.

And want more?! It's free! There are no submission fees.
