What is Comic Create?

Comic Create is a monthly event hosted by Phoenix Comicon in various locations throughout the Valley. The event provides the public with the unique opportunity to interact with comic artists and illustrators as they work. Come grab a coffee or a soda, walk around and potentially be transformed into a comic book character yourself.

Where's the next Comic Create?

March 20th (1:00-4:00pm)
Bookmans' Store in Phoenix

Always had the desire to make short films, but not sure where to start? Phoenix Comicon and Bookmans are teaming up help get you started. Video blogger Clintus McGintus of "I Do Digital", will provide instruction on: how to film a fight scene, shoot dialogue, basic editng and lighting, as well as establishing flow in your film. the first 2 hours will be instruction, with the remaining 2 being reserved for practice. Comic artists will be available to help come up with ideas for a short film. There will be limited cameras on hand, so please bring your own in available. All ages welcome.
