Media or Press Badge Agreement

Media or Press Badges
* Badges must be worn and visible at all times. Individuals without badges will not be allowed in convention space.
* Acceptance of a Phoenix Comicon membership badge and admission to the convention constitutes an agreement to allow Phoenix Comicon, its agents, or assignees to use your image and/or likeness for advertising or promotion by the Phoenix Comicon by any media now known or hereafter devised.
* It is unlawful to duplicate Phoenix Comicon membership badges.
* Each badge admits one person to the Phoenix Comicon.
* Badges are non-transferable and non-replaceable.

Media and Press Agreement
1. I agree to respect the rights of Phoenix Comicon guests and obtain permission from each guest before
interviewing, recording and/or photographing them.
2. I understand some panels and events may be off limits to media or have restrictions, and flash
photography may be prohibited, especially during stage performances. I agree to check with the person
in charge of the room, panel or event to find out the rules in advance.
3. I understand that the Hyatt Regency has rules regarding video and film, restricting recording to Phoenix
Comicon areas only and prohibiting recording in common public areas such as the lobbies. I agree to
adhere to the rules of the hotel with the knowledge that if these rules are violated, I will be escorted out
of the hotel by hotel security and my Phoenix Comicon badge will be revoked.
4. I understand that Phoenix Comicon is not responsible for the safety of my equipment. If equipment
is left unattended, it is my sole responsibility and not the responsibility of Phoenix Comicon or the
Phoenix Comicon staff.
5. I understand that my Media or Press badge has been given to me as a professional courtesy and my media
privileges may be revoked at any time.
6. I understand that in order to be eligible for a Media or Press badge next year, I must send a copy of all articles,
photos and/or productions that are published, aired or posted to the Phoenix Comicon Communications
Director prior to Phoenix Comicon 2013.
