In light of the recent tragedies in France, Australia and Canada, we explore, through the lens of In the Flesh, how social response biases to tragic events creates institutionalized and sometimes subconscious marginalization of different groups of people. We will also compare the treatment of zombies in this show to zombies in other stories, especially recent well-known ones like The Walking Dead and Warm Bodies.
