Bartitsu is an eclectic martial art and self-defense method originally developed in England during the years 1898–1902. In 1903, it was immortalised (as "baritsu") by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes mystery stories.[1] Although dormant throughout most of the 20th century, Bartitsu has been experiencing a revival since 2002. It has received a huge surge of interest from the Steampunk Community, as the only martial art created and practiced during what is considered our "canonical" period!

Mad Max and the Apocalypse was once just a random movie and sci-fi watching experience. After visiting our vehicles on display out front, come to our panel to see how we built our vehicles. 1) Engineers of the Apocalypse is the team who built R.Y.F.F.O. (Rip Your Fancy Face Off). Once it was a Suburban, then we cut it in half and added an upper deck for an intense war machine with a intimidating pedal power turret. We have more plans for upgrades. Tools? What are tools? 2) Bruce Boyd has been obsessed with "Mad Max 2; the Road Warrior" for many years. The 1979 Chevy 4x4 called "Death Comes Ripping" is his ever-evolving creation & passion. It's his daily driver and can been seen dominating the 202 almost daily, sans the bolt-on death blades mounted to the front bumper.

Many fondly remember seeing Sean for the first time in Mikey in Steven Spielberg’s The Goonies. From there he went on to many other outstanding performances including the title role in the critically acclaimed Rudy (1993). And of course he was the beloved Sam Gamgee in the Academy Award Winning Trilogy – The Lord of the Rings.

The Mass Effect Trilogy (and most likely upcoming title Andromeda) are well known for many things: branching stories, well constructed characters, and a wide array of colors. Being a BioWare game there is one thing it is known for, possibly above all else: romance! Mass Effect is a trilogy where you can pursue love across 100+ hours of gameplay with numerous alien races, genders, and sexual orientations. But sexuality exists outside of just what Commander Shepard is up to. In this panel we'll discuss the sexuality, sexual preferences, and just how things are done in the space bedroom for assorted alien races throughout the Mass Effect Universe. We'll also be exploring possible meanings in romance from the classic trilogy, before delving into our hopes for Mass Effect Andromeda!

Since its origin in 1966, Star Trek has pushed boundaries and laid new ground for diversity in media. Giving us everything from the first on-screen interracial kiss to main casts led by women and people of color, Star Trek has never shied away from tackling issues of representation and politics whether on screen or off.

Now, in the modern Star Trek era, many have rightfully pointed out that the same cast that was radical in the 60's does not stand up to today’s standards of diversity. For everything they are (action-packed, funny and spirited) the Abrams Trek-verse has stayed decidedly unpolitical - and even regressive by some standards.

Enter 2017, and CBS’s much anticipated brand new Star Trek television series. With the return of this legendary franchise to its bread and butter format, television, comes an opportunity for the writers, producers and casting agents to give fans a story (and a cast) that fills us with excitement for the future, while tackling the politics of today. Join us for a discussion on what a diverse cast could look like in the next installment of the historic, future-driven franchise.

Bear was a founding partner in Prop'er Effects, the prop fabrication company used by Joe Longo, one of the two Star Trek prop masters of the 80's and 90's. During his time with Prop'er, Bear fabricated some of Star Trek's iconic props, such as Geordi's VISOR, Picard's Ressikan flute, Worf's Klingon Sash, and the "boomerang" phaser, among dozens of other props and set pieces for the series and films. If you've ever wanted to know about props from this iconic series and it's spinoffs, this is the place for you!

Seventeen years ago, millions of fans cried out in despair and were largely ignored. Now it's time to forget all that. Imagine a world where the prequels were never made, where only now are the new franchise keepers planning them. We have written a brand new full script for Episode One and we'll be reading it out with a full cast, sound effects and a whole lot of enthusiasm. No midi-chlorians, no trade disputes, no Jar Jar, just the origin story we always hoped to see. Not a hoax! Not a gag! Not a spoof! Just pure Star Wars goodness the way you like it. But a story this big can't fit in one mere panel! This is only Act One. Make sure to join us for Act Two and the epic conclusion to the story. Every saga has a beginning, and sometimes one needs a do-over.
